DJI-WINGSLAND Z15
Spotlight with Gimbal for DJI M300 RTK and Matrice 200 Series V2
The Wingsland Z15 provides a powerful, targeted light source from the air.
What is the Wingsland Z15?
The Wingsland Z15 is a high-powered spotlight that can be flown on the M300 RTK - DJI's flagship commercial platform - and the DJI Matrice 200 Series V2.
It has a 3-axis gimbal and can shine bright light up to 150m away from the drone. Ideal for low-light conditions, the Z15 can be utilised across a range of applications, including public safety, law enforcement, search and rescue, and inspection.
Powered by DJI's SkyPort technology and controlled through the DJI Pilot app, the Z15 can be paired with the M300 RTK and Matrice 200 Series V2, and used alongside other payloads, such as the H20T (M300 RTK only), the Z30 zoom camera, and the XT2 thermal camera.
For enhanced aerial efficiency, pair the Z15 with the M300 RTK and H20T quad-sensor solution. Obtain vital situational awareness with the Z15, combined with the powerful drone platform and the H20T's thermal, wide-angle, zoom, and laser rangefinder sensor array.
Flexible
Switch between always on, flashing and SOS lighting modes, gives you the opportunity to tailor your light source to the situation.
Heat Protection
Built-in air cooling system keeps the Z15 spotlight cool and prevents overheating during operations that run on for some time.
Wide Range
The spotlight can light up large areas from up to 150m away. Useful for firefighting, security, search and rescue and emergency response.
Key Features
- Intelligent Protection to Stop Overheating
- Multiple Light Functions
- 48W Maximum Power LEDs
- Integrate with the M300 RTK and pair with sensors such as the H20T. Also supports the Matrice 210 and 210 RTK's dual payload capacity - can be used alongside Zenmuse XT2, Z30 or X5S.
Use Cases
- Public Safety and Search and Rescue: Utilise the bright spotlight to obtain crucial visibility in low-light conditions. Search for casualties, suspects or missing people, while covering and accessing large and/or difficult-to-reach areas.
- Firefighting and Emergency Response: Light up the way after the light has been compromised by fire or a natural disaster.
- Infrastructure Repair and Maintenance: The power has suddenly cut off, the light supply has failed, or a structure has collapsed at night. Use the Z15 to conduct urgent maintenance and emergency repairs from above - in an efficient, cost-effective, and safe way.
Z15 - Review: Gimbal Spotlight For Search And Rescue
This image shows the effectiveness of the Z15 for nighttime or low-light operations.
The picture comes courtesy of Southport Lifeboat crew, who are 'impressed' with the Z15 having used it with a DJI M210 V2 and alongside the XT2 thermal camera.
Paul Shorrock, Coxswain at Southport Lifeboat, said: "The Z15 certainly does the job it is required to do. It is very bright, and even at 400ft, it puts enough light down to illuminate the area.
“The Z15 has been particularly useful when used in conjunction with our thermal camera. The XT2 can identify targets using thermal, before switching to visual and lighting the area with the Z15. This allows us to positively identify the target, saving valuable time sending our ground units to investigate, often on challenging or hazardous terrain.
“The Z15 is also great at lighting up a scene for our ground units when they need it."
