I kept losing the small battery checkers I had. This is big enough to write my name on with white marker and big enough that it doesn't get lost too easily. Works flawlessly and has some cool functions.

It shows the difference between max and min cell, which is helpful for knowing if you've got a bad battery
it also can balance your batteries which is good if you have a low charged cell with no charger nearby. A perfectly balanced battery also charges much quicker
