Frsky XJT module

So far I am happy with the XJT module. Using it with two X8R receivers flying my two electric RC planes. I am using the module in an old JRx-388S 8ch radio. The module fits well in the radio module bay without any modifications. Had to program set the radio in PPM. F signal mode. I am only utilizing the 8ch setup mode. The JR radio has no software access to the XJT module and X8R receiver. Got the FrSky USB S. Port tool kit. I have installed and tested it via my PC. Now I can access the XJT module and X8R receiver using the S.port. I have checked the software and hardware and did updates. The XJT module and X8R receivers I received had the latest updates on when I checked. I like The XJT module beep alarm indicating radio signal range. One feature I lost is channel failsave. In this radio setup I can only failsave preset all channels or none. My JR radio in PCM mode I could failsave 1 channel or more and the other channels stay in last set hold state. Not a deal breaker. I can live with that. Hope to have lots of happy flying hours.
