The OrangeRx 6ch compact receiver has been designed for FPV racing drones with carbon frames. The extra length antenna allows you to route them outside of the frame for extended range and a robust link to your transmitter.

In fact, our testing has shown that the R617XL exceeds the range of other receivers in the same class.
All R617XL OrangeRx satellite module receivers are QC tested using our latest method that ensures range checking takes place as the receiver is programmed. Simply put, if the R617XL cannot pass the range check it cannot be programmed, this ensures 100% of R617XL's are guaranteed to work flawlessly. The receiver features "True Diversity" technology, this is especially important for long range flights and in situations where you need that more robust reception. This receiver is very useful where carbon is used in the construction of your model where the antenna can be in the shadow of the airframe. If one of the antenna's cannot receive a signal due to its orientation then the satellite will use the other one to receive the commands from the transmitter.
The R617XL is a satellite module receiver and has a 6 channel cPPM output allowing for a single line connection with compatible devices. This satellite module has been tested with and is fully compatible with the following Flight Controllers;

You bind it by grounding the signal wire and then power it up. Then it will enter bind mode, then you do the bind process with your transmitter.
