EXCELLENT, but disappointing

This GNB battery did the exact same thing some other (but older) GNB's did.
1st , the positive. This thing has power! Unfortunately I cannot measure how much, but the XT60 connector got fused together and had to be cut off(change to XT90)
I am using this in a modified HPI Savage XL. Had been using another brand battery in the car with a higer C rating , but this battery out performs it.
I did however open up the battery to split it inorder for it to fit in both battery trays in the RC car.
Now , the bad.
Used the battery for about 6x cycles before my truck broke. The battery never went below 3.3V per cell (using a LiPo alarm connected when using the battery)
Its been balanced every time after use. But unfortunately, one cell died. It was perfect balanced when it was put in storage. Fixing up the truck took much longer than expected( few months). When I wanted to charge up again , one cell was on 0.0V
Tried to recover it , but the internal resistance is at 40 ( other cells sit at 2-4)
The battery is basically unusable now.

Very good battery

The battery has performed very well so far on the bench. The only issue is the choice of connector is rather light. Having a 50C, 5000 mAh battery will put a lot of thermal stress on a connector designed for 60 A. I replaced it with a XT90 to give better margin on the current rating.

Highly recommended

I push this pack very hard in my enormous Thunderbolt over and over, with a way oversized, scale 4 blade prop and enough bells and whistles to make your head spin, or lower quality packs puff or perform erratically this pack just keeps on giving - it's far more stable than my X-Power and even Gens-Ace packs and is fast becoming one of my favourites - flight times of around 7-10 minutes are common on the GensAce pack but with this pack I'm getting almost 15 minutes!! Highly recommended!
